Michael Cathcart

Born in Santa Monica, CA in 1968 to legendary trumpeter/singer Dick Cathcart and Peggy Lennon of the famed Lennon Sisters. Grew up singing and playing guitar, piano, and other instruments, as well as singing in numerous jingles for radio and television through out the '70s and '80s. Began performing in lounges and clubs in his late teens, gathering a loyal following in the San Fernando Valley. Moved to Branson, MO in the early '90s and performed in many years' worth of shows with the Lennon Sisters and other Welk stars, toured with Andy Williams in Asia and the UK, and currently performs at the Moon River Grill on a regular basis. Michael is a solo performer, Vocals, piano, guitar & harmonica. Specialty are 'Standard' songs from the 50's & 60's, 'Singer/Songwriter' songs from the 60's & 70's. Michael's first solo live CD, 'An Evening With Michael Cathcart Live' is available for track download or disc purchase through several online music sites. His 2nd CD is available at performances.
